I very very very much enjoy making wedding dresses. I have helped with the construction of two, helping with the design of one of those, and made 3 on my own. All 3 of the Brides Dresses I have had to create from pictures, drawings, and/or descriptions from the bride. I loved it!
I have also made quite a few dresses for Bridesmaids and Flower Girls. I’ve lost count on those. I need to go through photos and find them all
Bridal sewing is challenging ~ a challenge I enjoy. I purchased a book on bridal sewing that a much-more-seasoned-seamstress friend recommended. Reading through it I kept wondering what could have possessed me to think I could make someone a wedding dress without any real knowledge of what I was doing!!! (I had made one all on my own before I got the book) It is wonderful to have the book to go to anytime I make another brides dress.
Here are some links to bridal sewing I have done:
Navy Bridesmaid dresses and Navy Bridesmaid Dresses
My Girls dresses for a wedding
Crystal’s wedding and here and here and here

I think you make the most beautiful Bridal gowns!!! Thanks for making mine!!!

Jill, please ignore my post of a few minutes ago. I magnified your picture of the book and was able to see that it’s “Bridal Gowns: How to Make the WEdding Dress of Your Dreams” by Susan E. Andriks. I am on my way now to my local library to check it out. May have to purchase it eventually! Thanks for the tip.
Glad you figured it out Louise! Hope you find the book and like it as much as I do!
