The Vintage Marketplace 2013

We arrived at The Vintage Marketplace at the flea around 9 am.  During a torrential downpour.  We checked in under umbrella’s.  And waited for the downpour to subside.  Unloaded under grey skies that were very prone to shower us with wetness.  We were so thankful for a tent to get our merchandise under.  Set up went smoothly once all the unloading and situating and resituating was done.  I priced everything after it was set up.  I arrived home a few minutes before 7 pm.  To a hot tator-tot casserole awaiting me – talk about comfort food!  Thanks to my Mom for bringing the  casserole and to my hubby and teenager for having it ready for me when I got home.

Here are some photos I managed to take of our space.  I didn’t take the time to edit, I was barely keeping my eyes open.

If you are in the Ohio area please come by and see us this weekend!

  6. I saw a mirror on the floor in front that looks to be a metal frame. If you don’t sell it let me know. I’d love to have that mirror. Been trying to collect vintage mirrors. I have a couple but that’s it. Would it be too hard to ship? Please let me know as I really would love to have that mirror. I saw many other things I love also but the mirror would be awesome to have. Now is when I wish we still lived in KY again. Good luck on your sale, may you sell everything, but that mirror. Hope if it doesn’t sell the price is doable for me plus the shipping. Happy weekend Hope the weather cooperates better.

I hope you have a week as beautiful as you are!

  1. […] with making new handmade goods, I’m still trying to catch up on my sleep from the Vintage Marketplace.  It seems I’m dragging in no time these days and need a nap – or an early bedtime. […]

  2. […] that really make the booth a showplace and I added a few of my creations and vintage finds.  Last fall I rented a 17 foot truck and filled it full along with my car and filled a 15×25 foot space […]
