I was able to make a few new things this past week. I had to take it slow after having the nasty flu virus so instead of tackling any large, difficult projects I made a few fun things. They are for sale in my etsy shop – and if you order now you will have them in time for Valentine’s!
Besides the Red and White Scarf and Red and Cream Scarf I now offer you a Red and Pink ruffled Scarfx. I love this one – I think it’s about my fav. Except for the Grey and White. And the Brown Varigated. And the Black and White. Oh dear, I guess they are are all my favs!
A Tiny Tote made from an antique European Grain Sack. Heart on front is a pocket.
It’s a perfect size for your little sweetheart – or even to carry yourself on a date night
Measures 8.5 wide by 7.5 high. Total height with handles 15 inches. Lined with linen.
How about a camera strap made from an antique European grain sack? This one I totally splurged and used up the red stripe from the center of the sack. If this one doesn’t sell soon I will be very much tempted to put it on my own camera
I also used up some more grain sack scraps so if you like patchwork and grain sacks these are for you! Find this one here.
This one has a few different blue striped pieces in it.
Go find all my camera straps in the shop!
This one is made from a grain sack look tea towel. The lime green stripe is so fun.
A quick search discovered that the words on this vintage inspired patch say ‘Photographic Workshop’. Fitting for a camera strap doncha think?
There are lots of handmade items in my shop right now – head over and check it out – and think Valentine’s gifts

So pretty Jill. You are an amazingly talented seamstress!

You were busy. How much would you have made were you not still recovering from the flu? My goodness. My favorite is the lime green camera strap.

Thanks Liz – the grain sack scraps came from a couple friends who had pieces they couldn’t use. The striped grain sack that I used for the red striped camera strap I found online.
The lime green camera strap is so cute. Especially with the patch!
Love the little tote and all the other camera straps too!

Ohhhhhh!! That tiny tote is just too precious! I adore things in smaller sizes and this one with the heart is just perfect! Great way to use the plain part of the grain sack with just a smidge of the stripe!
