Good Morning and Happy Weekend!!!  Do you all love weekends like I do?  What do you do on your weekends?  Today I am catching up on laundry, working on some sewing projects (my sewing pile is fast approaching totally out-of-control!)  helping Trav with whatever he does, fitting windows, and just a little blogging.  Wait!  Fitting windows??!  You’ve never heard of such a thing?  You don’t fit your windows?  :)  I am working on a project involving windows – and window dressings.  So yes the term ‘fitting windows’ applies!  More to come on that in the very near future.  Call it a looming deadline.j

Today I want to finally send out some blog love to some blogs that I think you all need to know about.  A couple are long-time friends and a couple are pretty new friends.  And I’ve been wanting to share them with you.  Today’s the day!

I will start with the new:

Breida with a b.  I am so glad I found Breida.  She is a great writer, and already a great friend.  She ordered a camera strap cover from me.  You can see it here.  Be sure to read Breida’s ‘about me’ page – it explains why she named her blog ‘breida with a b’.  And check out this post for a sample of the creativity she has.  Grab your coffee and browse through her whole blog!  I did!  And it is time well spent

Next up is Amy at While Wearing Heels.  While you are sipping your coffee and browsing poke around Amy’s blog for awhile too!  She is amazing!  You have to check out her red and white dot dress that she wore for her daughter’s birthday party recently.  In fact you need to read all her posts on the party details. Go here and then follow the links in the post to other posts with more fun pics.  Or just go to her blog and just keep scrolling and  reading.  You won’t be sorry!  I’m so happy I found Amy and connected with her.  Some people are just fast friends from the first cyber meeting!

And now a couple of ‘old’ friends!

Kara from McMaster and Storm has been my IRL friend for years.  Our hubbys are related so that gives us even more of a connection.  Kara’s blog has a ton of goodness packed into it and it would be another great one to browse someday while you are sipping your sweet tea on a hot, lazy afternoon!  ( I do realize none of us really have lazy afternoons but sometimes we need to take one anyway!)  It is Kara’s window that is getting a fitting today.  Plenty more to come from both of us in the near future.  Head on over and follow her blog so you don’t miss anything – there is some fun stuff in the works!!!

Laura at Decore to Adore.  I think I have followed her from the very beginning of my blogging journey.  Soon after anyway.  It’s been years now though that is hard to believe!  Laura is in the midst of moving right now and is busy busy.  Her comments are turned off on her blog right now so she doesn’t have to feel the pressure of replying to everyone as she gets her family settled in their new home.  But you can stop by her facebook page and leave her a kind note.  Please do – she and her family have been through some pretty big trials lately and I know she would appreciate some love!
